三井住友カード（東京・港）が2014年10月から、クレジットカードの加盟店管理にビッグデータ分析技術を本格的に活用し始めた。ホームページやSNS（ソーシャル・ネットワーキング・サービス）、ネット掲示板などから、加盟店の評判やうわさといった情報をリアルタイムに収集する。
