調査では「カードをメインに使い、カードが使えない時に現金を使った」という回答が最も多く48.1％だった。次いで多かったのは「高額な買い物にはカードを使い、少額な買い物には現金を使った」で31％。「現金をメインに使い、現金が足りない時にカードを使った」は20.5％だった。
