まずビットコインは、従来からあるような電子マネーとは根本的に異なる存在である。電子マネーはあくまで従来の通貨をベースにそれを電子決済のプラットフォームで通用するようにしただけである。基本的には従来の通貨の決済手段にすぎず、それ自体が通貨とはいえない。
