日本クレジット協会は、昨年12月26日、クレジットカードの利用額や発行枚数などの過去10年分（平成15年～24年）の数値の訂正をホームページにひっそりと掲載した。例えば、カード利用額は24年の53兆2541億円（前年比7．4％増）から40兆6863億円（同7．7％増）に修正。
